The Story of Khloudé

I started Khloudé (pronounced kh-lou-day) because, quite frankly, I was tired of settling. For years, I found myself stuck in a cycle of buying those "3 for £10" market hijabs, the ones that fray after one wash and feel like they were made without any care. I realised that as Muslim women, we were being offered quantity over quality, and I was frustrated that the garment most central to my identity felt so disposable. I knew we deserved better. I chose the name Khloudé from the Arabic word Khulud, meaning eternity, because I wanted to create a brand that rejects fast fashion in favour of pieces that are built to last.

To me, this is about more than just fabric; it’s about the Islamic principle of Ihsan, striving for excellence and beauty in everything we do. I wanted to solve the "disposable hijab" problem by creating a collection that respects both you and our planet. Every piece I design is an Amanah (a trust) between us; I promise to provide you with premium, durable hijabs that stay in place and make you feel as elegant as our faith intends. Khloudé is my way of making sure you never have to choose between your budget and your dignity again. You’ve always deserved quality that lasts, and I’m so honoured to finally bring that to your wardrobe.
